weak and strong

I’m waiting for the results of the latest MRI scan and I’ve never been patient. I relate to your demands of “NOW, MOMMY!” although your tone is much different than mine. I’ve learned to be impatient politely; silently and with mounting stress. I relieve the stress by cleaning, exercising or getting irritable with non-related issues. I’m grateful for the buds sprouting in the garden. I’m grateful for the sun shining on our (could be) sad faces but it’s important we continue to smile and to laugh because today we are together just the way we need to be and as an old friend once said, “A day depressed is a day lost.”
